Ryan has worked as an independent insurance agent for the last 13 years. In 1995 he received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Viterbo University in La Crosse. He started his insurance career working along side his father Mike Lium, who owned and operated an independent agency that he started in 1968.
As an independent agent, Ryan enjoys working with people and helping them find the best fit for their insurance needs. The lines of business that Ryan writes are auto, home, business, farm, and life & health.
He also has served on the Viterbo University Alumni Board of Directors and was inducted into the Viterbo University Athletics Wall of Fame for his accomplishments in baseball in 2008. He currently serves on the Hamburg-Stark Board of Directors and the Advisory Board of Directors for Wisconsin Mutual.
Ryan, his wife Mary Jo and son Michael reside in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He continues to be very active in the community by coaching flag football, basketball, and baseball at The Boys & Girls Club in La Crosse and still enjoys playing baseball and golf whenever possible.

Jamie began his insurance career in 1992 while attending UW-La Crosse. He later graduated with a B.S. in Human Resource Management, with an emphasis in Risk Management and Insurance. Jamie advanced his insurance career by obtaining valuable experience in such roles as claim adjuster, underwriter, account manager and producer. And his past employment with top 100 insurance carriers and top 100 independent agencies, gives him unique ability to examine your risk management needs and negotiate the appropriate solutions.
Jamie joined the Marine Insurance Services team in May of 2009 as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. In addition to personal lines products, Jamie has extensive experience in commercial insurance, employee benefits (fully insured and self-funded), financial institution products and risk management consulting. Jamie supports businesses and financial institutions throughout the upper Midwest, holding licenses in numerous states. Jamie also brings a wealth of experience to nonprofit groups. His hours of volunteer work and leadership roles with such organizations give him a unique understanding of the exposures nonprofit groups face. Committed to improving the communities we live in, Jamie volunteer’s time and talent to the following organizations: Rotary Lights, Rotary Club of La Crosse East, Rotaract Club of La Crosse, St. Patrick’s Church & School, UW-L Alumni Association Board of Directors, Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity, La Crescent Applefest and La Crosse Oktoberfest.
Jamie, his wife and daughter now reside in Onalaska where they are renovating a century old home; while it has been a challenging experience, it has become a rewarding family project. Jamie also enjoys camping, golfing, and travelling to his hometown of Peshtigo, WI.
